PATIO SEASON IS HERE! In Wisconsin, patio season

PATIO SEASON IS HERE!

In Wisconsin, patio season starts somewhere around 50-60 degrees so we’re soaking in the beautiful weather.

Chef Nyle is rolling out a few specials for the weekend including a certified angus beef sirloin served with fondant potatoes, charred broccolini & carrot-goat cheese puree. As a starter, we also have a mouthwatering sirloin crostini featuring Main Grain sourdough toast, roasted red pepper sauce, goat cheese, caramelized onions & red peppers, topped with sliced sirloin. Get the perfect cocktail pairing with the BEETEN PATH, crafted with beet-infused TenHead Woodland Dry gin, lemon, cranberry & house orange bitters.

This weekend, we’re also introducing our house-brewed IPA. DUBAY HAZE is a New England style, hazy IPA with plenty of hops. Enjoy a pint on our pet-friendly patio or by our fire pits.

In our first tasting competition, our TenHead Classic Vodka took home a gold from the American Craft Spirit Association’s annual spirits tasting!

Sure, we already knew that it was exceptionally smooth. But a little extra ego boost is always nice.

IT’S WOMEN’S WORK!

It’s a (mostly) female-led crew over here at Knowlton House starting with our co-founder & head distiller, Heather Mullins. After working as a R&D scientist assisting breweries/distilleries for a decade, Heather went on to get her Masters Degree in Brewing Science & Fermentation from the University of Nottingham (England) and completed her Masters in Distilling coursework at Heriot-Watt University (Scotland). Despite having four small kids at home, Heather took the leap to leave a successful career behind her and open a distillery. As humble as she is brilliant, Heather is quick to point out that none of this would be possible without the support of those around her.

Today, we’re raising a glass to all the hardworking women out there. Whether you’re making your mark in the workplace, in your home, in your community, or wherever it may be – do it with passion.

And to all those that are lifting up the women in your life “THANK YOU”. We’ll raise a second drink to you too.
